I lived in Monterey when I was going to grad school.  I remember having my heat on, especially in the mornings, at this time of year.

 

September always seemed to be warmer.

@Marienkaefer2, me too! Born and raised and lived all my life in SoCal, so this area is delightful to me :-)

 

Yes, we do have the heat on in the mornings, and I have a light blankie for the wee hours. It's sunny today - first time in a week, at the house. Monterey has been sunnier than we have been this week. We are a few miles north of Marina and a few miles inland.

Life without Mexican food is no life at all

Saturday was cool here.  It was in the lower 70's and quite windy.  My DH was gone all day and I don't even think he was out of the driveway and I had all my windows opened.  LOL

Current temp. is 58 degrees with a projected high of 70 on Ca. coast.

We have had oppressive heat for most of the summer. For the next two weeks we'll have temps below normal...in the high 70's to low 80's...gong to enjoy every moment I can outside while it lasts!!! Smiley Very Happy
