Like most, I couldn’t keep something I did not pay for. And even if someone wasn’t honest, just think about the bad karma. Yikes!😱

ETA - At least I was honest to say what I would do, even though I know it's not the right thing to do.

@SilleeMee  If the jewelry store did ask if by chance you received them by mistake...what would you tell them?  That you gave them away....or that you never got them?

I always tell a joke when someone asks me that question.

Here's what I say, "So when I die and am on the OUTSIDE of the Pearly Gates".  My late husband is standing on the INSIDE of the Pearly Gates.

A voice comes up and says to me, "Do you remember the time you (cheated, stole, etc) something?"

And my late husband on the INSIDE of the Pearly Gates says, "Nanny Nanny Boo Boo".  Ha!

I always do the right thing.  It would weigh on my mind and I don't need that stress this late in life.

It is a very strange mishap.. too strange to not be hinky by whomever packaged all those bracelets! One, or two extras possibly, but 40-some?! 😳

Anyone with a working conscience, and normal suspicions that something is seriously amiss- not wanting to be unintentionally involved, would report it to authorities or just return them, I would think. I certainly would. Can’t imagine what I would do with so many anyway. I would examine them each, and keep the highest quality one, though, as someone else here suggested.

I haven't read all the responses, but from my point of view, there's only one thing to do....contact the store and return the items.

@coffee drinker.  Do you really think our posters s are going to admit they'd resell the extras at a profit and make a bunch of money?

I don't see how that could have happened, but I definitely would have returned the other bracelets.
