Maybe it's regional. I always say that "I'm going to throw something on". I've never heard pop.

I always laugh when I hear Amy Stran say "climb into" when she's talking about putting on clothing. If I had to climb into any of my clothes, I don't think I'd be wearing them at all...sounds like way too much effort!

I associate the "climbing into" expression with my childhood when mom said "time to climb into your jammies and climb into bed." It was an expression that was meant for children or sick ones who needed rest.

"don" sounds archaic to me. All I can think of is "Don we now our gay apparel fa la la la la la la la la". LOL
I've used "throw on" at times; "pop" sounds odd to me.
