You can find me upstairs in my studio quilting. I always have a quilt or two (or more!) in the works.

I just finished two quilts for my twin granddaughters - they have a birthday coming up shortly.

Now, I have two Christmas quilts I'm currently working on. I have all the blocks finished for one - just waiting on the finishing pattern and the other is going pretty fast. Should be done in a couple of weeks.

@riley1 Welcome!🥰  I LOVE❤ that you quilt, because my dear grandmother would make them for our family, church raffles, and she would quilt lap robes for patients in the local convalescent hospitals! She often said it was relaxing!😁

THANK you SO much for caring to share how you unwind today!🤗

@SandySparkles   Usually what I do is play the piano.  I get my warm up in, practice for a bit, then I could spend an hour easily without realizing it just playing some of my favorite tunes.

@SloopJohnB Welcome!🥰 WOW! That is impressive! I like listening to piano music playing softly, like that you hear at a lounge.🥰 We have a local hospital that has a man who plays the piano sometimes that so you are greeted with comforting music as you enter!😁

THANK you SO much for caring to share how you unwind today!🤗

@SandySparkles  During the week after work, I ride my Peloton bike or run on the Treadmill for a while.  Typically  every day before I start my dinner.   It helps me to totally wind down and sweat out the day.  Later in the evening, in summer, hubs and I sit out on the porch at the beach or at home in the screen porch with a glass of wine and we talk.  Tonight is a beach porch night so I'm really stoked!

Now if the grandkids are over,  I cannot sit down!  They are busy, busy, busy 🩷

I used to play video games many years ago with my kids. It was fun but I would actually get frustrated because I wasn't as good as they were and they would just laugh and laugh at me cussing out the game!

Re: How Do You UNWIND At The End Of The Day?😊

I enjoy visiting with my DH at the end of the day. He still works, so it is relaxing to hear him tell me about his day.

I also enjoy coming here, and reading about all the things. Smiley Happy

My final relaxant at the end of each day is a warm shower, and the feel of clean sheets on the bed.

When I retired I disengaged my spring, so I just don't 'wind' anymore.

No stress here but I enjoy watching ships traveling the Great Lakes & doing jigsaw puzzles of them on Jigidi.

Re: How Do You UNWIND At The End Of The Day?😊

Laying in bed with my dogs and sometimes husband listening to music, watching YouTube or talking to DH.  Lighting is everything to me so I set a calming/relaxing mood with my smart lights. And when we get out of the city and get back home, that's exactly what I'll be doing.
