When my kids were younger (K-12), I got a 5 minute time out to change clothes. They thought the time out was funny.
@CalminHeart Welcome!🥰 WOW! You must have been a VERY busy mom!❤😁 I suppose 5 minutes was a lot better than NO minutes!😄 THANK goodness you had those 5 precious minutes!!!👍
THANK you SO much for caring to share how you unwind!🤗

@smoochy wrote:I'm retired so basically I don't need to unwind anymore. Im always unwound, lol well unless I'm anxious about a medical problem or procedure. Breast biopsy tomorrow has me worried. I enjoy surfing the web, reading these forums, reading novels, tending to my little free library, practicing my music-singing and choreo for show chorus, playing with my dog and cat. Watching sports on tv. I seldom drink alcohol but sometimes relax with a cold beer if we go out for a casual dinner.
@smoochy Welcome!🥰 WOW! I LOVE❤ this list of your leisure activities! Several are things I do to unwind, such as reading the forums and a good novel every now and then!😁 I have not imbibed in many sunsets, but when I did, I enjoyed a glass of wine, or two! 😄
I HOPE and PRAY your biopsy results will be negative, and for peace for you as you await the results!🙏 I know all to well how unnerving it can be!😊
THANK you SO much for caring to share things you enjoy!🤗

@ECBG Welcome!🥰 Reading the forums has been a popular way to unwind, and I concur! It is a nice way to unwind, because there are SO many topics and conversations to enjoy! You and I LOVE❤ Bridgerton so I can see why Netflix is one of your favored ways to unwind! 😁
THANK you SO much for caring to share this evening!🤗

You're so welcome. Remember, I'm trying to build up my walking but, I can't exercise all day. I can only stand a few minutes. I'm on here and netflix between doctor appointments and physical therapy; that's why I'm not working.

We retired and we turned off the tv! We mostly read, listen to music, do some research about something we are interested in, play guitar or piano, take a walk or drive, get in the hot tub before dinner, do devotional time and/or write.
We just enjoy what we have.

@ECBG Awwwww!❤ I was SO hoping things were a little better for you because I had not seen a recent update, and am truly SORRY to read this! I know you are giving therapy your very BEST effort because you are SO strong and have such a tenacious spirit! I also know how incredibly difficult it has been for you not being able to do what you love; STYLING.😁 I am HAPPY that the forums are here as a WELCOME diversion from it all!❤ It is nice to have the camaraderie and support!😊
I am sending heartfelt prayers of comfort and HEALING, with hopes that your stamina improves soon, and for you to have a restful night of sleep this evening!🙏🙏
Take extra special care!{{🤗}}

Thank you Sandy, your message was so sweet and thoughtful and gave me a smile. At 72, I don't know if I'll ever work again.
Right now, DH has to drive me to appts because I can't walk far with this cane from big parking lots.
