@LindaSal wrote:I don't really have much stress in my life at this time, thankfully! But every night after dinner DH and I watch a movie or an episode or two of a series. I guess that is considered "winding down" as I find it quite relaxing. Also I enjoy a nice glass of wine with dinner
@LindaSal Welcome!🥰 How WONDERFUL to be able to say you do not have much stress!❤ I think MANY posters share your last favorite; though I have not had wine in many sunsets, but remember how relaxing it could be.!!!😁
THANK you SO much for caring to share your favorites today!🤗

A long soak in the bathtub is the perfect way for me to relax at the end of the day.
My bathroom faces due east, so many times I can watch the moon rise.
Other times of the year, the tub surround is lit with Valerie's seasonal decorations.
It is so peaceful to just relax in the softly lit room.

Love a good walk, then a couple of hours watching a great movie, followed by reading one of the best selling books (from my wait list at the library or a stack of unread book waiting for my time and attention). Evenings can last until the wee hours (or daylight hours more often than I'd like to admit!) of morning. And the phone doesn't ring!

You can find me upstairs in my studio quilting. I always have a quilt or two (or more!) in the works.
I just finished two quilts for my twin granddaughters - they have a birthday coming up shortly.
Now, I have two Christmas quilts I'm currently working on. I have all the blocks finished for one - just waiting on the finishing pattern and the other is going pretty fast. Should be done in a couple of weeks.

@SandySparkles Usually what I do is play the piano. I get my warm up in, practice for a bit, then I could spend an hour easily without realizing it just playing some of my favorite tunes.

@Krimpette do you mind if I ask the name of the laptop puzzels you do? This sounds wonderful. TIA.

@juanitalinda WOW! Your post was SO descriptive, it made me want to draw a bath NOW with aromatherapy!😁 YOU are SO fortunate to be able to watch the moon rise. There is something ethereal, sometimes mystical about it!!!❤
THANK you SO much for caring to share your VERY relaxing favorite!🤗

@BirkiLady I did not think about but walking is a WONDERFUL way to unwind!😁 I HATE when the phone rings after I have settled down because some of the calls bring me STRESS!!🤣

@Caaareful Shopper No problem! Jigsaws Galore is the name of the website I've been using for many years now. The site is very comprehensive. I started with their "freebies". But since then, I purchase more puzzles when they have periodic sales. There are usually 50 puzzles per set. They offer an extensive array of topics. Jigsaws Galore dot com.
Or dgray dot com. (he's the developer......and is also very helpful if you ever have an issue). I highly recommend this site. Best puzzle site I've ever found!
