I keep my to do list and grocery list in the Notes app on my. iPhone. It's always handy and with me wherever I am, at home or out.

I use the "Reminder" app on my iPhone to do just that...remind me of daily, weekly, monthly, yearly things to be done. Appointment go on the "Calendar" app, which also lets me set up an "Alert" and a 2nd "Alert" to give me a heads up on appointments so I don't get caught off guard. I set up an alert for 1 week out, then 2 days out.
Lists go on the "Notes" app.

I use a planner that when opened has a weekly calendar on the left hand page and a to-do list on the right hand page (Cambridge from Amazon). I like being able to add items on the weeks to come. I just listed a reminder for an agenda item for a meeting on January 14th for example.
I keep a notepad on the refrigerator for grocery items I need, but I use a steno book for planning the meals for the week and making my shopping list. The main list goes on the left side of the page and if I have to go to other stores I list those on the right.

I either write things on a small post it, or keep things on Google Keep. I have Google Keep on my desk top PC, my iphone and my tablet..........when I update it on one device the updates go thru to the other two devices when I'm at home on wifi.
I keep my prescription list, list of vaccations, doctor/dentist phone numbers, notes on questions I want to ask my doctors, grocery lists, and sometimes recipes if I need ingredients at the store.
I believe it allows you to add a photo or just type items in . I like that it works on both Windows and my Apple devices. Same thing w/Google Calendar.

I typed up a list of deep cleaning chores that I print out each Spring. For my weekly to do list, I just write them down on small note pads that charities keep sending me. I'll also jot things down things that I want to research.

Have made several lists including Costco, Trader Joe's, Walmart etc on my Alexa app, when I need items I tell her to add to that specific list.
As for chores I set reminders daily on my phone calendar.
I use google Maps to create driving routes & itineraries then add the route shortcut to my Home Page on my phone

I have an Android phone (Samsung).
Google store has free apps. I downloaded Notepad and use it for all kinds of lists. Temporary and permanent.
I like it on my phone so that i can make a memo anytime anywhere, i can access it anytime and anywhere like when shopping etc., never have to print it, always on hand just in case

@ThinkingOutLoud I've never trusted my phone to keep lists and a spred sheet on my computer is difficult to keep with me when I'm out and about.
I use very large index cards stacked by garage door going out for errands, a stack next to frig. for grocery lists and a stack on my desk for TO DOs around the house.
At appts. when I need to schedule another, I just tell them I'll call back. I'm a paper calendar gal all the way!!!
