What system do you use to keep track of items on your to do list?
I need a better way to keep track of my to do's. I use a spreadsheet on my computer which works for appointments, etc but 'to do' list items are random and it's also a problem when things don't get done in one month and need to be done the next.
Any ideas? tia

A list on your refrigerator, then check off things that are done.

Post it note and cross off as I go along.

I have a small pad of paper on my dining table that has a running list of to-dos. I check them off as they get done and add more when needed.

I have a list on my computer for about 10 years now with my weekly usual stores, Walmart and grocery ect... in bold. Under each store is the list of items that need to be purchased when I go to the stores. At the bottom of the list are the days Friday, Saturday and Sunday with all errands listed needed to be done on each day including my chore list at home for my time away from the office.
I print this list out on Fridays before I leave the office and scratch off all weekend what is accomplished. Also adding to it in ink items that I realize I need to purchase soon. Then on Monday I come back to work and remove what was done and bought and start adding to it for the next weekend.
Sometimes I print the list out on a Wednesday if I see I can run by the grocery store on my way home and not have to wait until the weekend. Just update again the next morning for a new list for the upcoming weekend.

I keep all my information on the calendar on the ipad and phone. They share, so it is always up to date when I am out. So if the dentist asks about a date 6 months out, I can do it.
Let's you search for items, like when should be the Rx be filled. Or you can see a whole month at once. Evidently my filters are going to die tomorrow 🤣
Gives me a little poke every morning.

I have a notebook that I keep beside my lazy boy where inside, I have a shopping list note pad (long & skinny) where I jot down items on my list and then cross them off when completed. I keep it there because I find it's easier to update it as I'm settled in for the evening to watch a little TV. During the day, if there's something I'm afraid I'll forget about, I just go grab it and write it down.

I have a list for the grocery store. I write things down I want to research online. I don't have a list of what needs done on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
When I get up I do what needs to be done daily. I start cleaning house on Mon. I clean some each day. By Fri it's all clean & ready to start all over on Mon. I find it takes less time cleaning doing it this way.
DH knows what he needs to do also. When he slacks off I ask him what's up?

Things I need to do are done on schedules and I have those schedules listed on my desktop.

I keep a pad on the fridge where I jot down items that I need to pick at the store. I also carry a notebook and put things down I am thinking about. Any appointments are noted on my calendar and phone.
