How in the name of Heaven do clothes sell out so fast?  Who is buying them?

Here's my tale of whoa!  So I always was honest with you guys and said I wore a 2X.  Yes, I own it...I was (and still am a chub),

Then I went to a 1X.  Then within the past maybe 3 months I started loosing weight very (and I mean very) rapidly.  Hey!  I was very overweight!

I'd say within this year it seems like everything I'm trying to buy (in a lot of them I'm now a size XL)...sells out...I mean totally gone...zip...nada...nothing there!

Just how skinny do I have to get to be able to buy clothes that will fit me?  Who in the world (repetitive here) is buying all of these clothes in all of the various sizes?

You old-timers (don't get your panties twisted...I'm an old-timer too).  This year I turn 77...so I own that phrase.

I've drifted off again.  Do you ladies, my buddies, my friends here...do you know how they can sell out so quickly?

I left the TV for a nano-secon and came back and A282205 was totally sold out....

I already own the red one (still in the package).  But it's beautiful and I wanted another one or two.

I hope some of my buddies here can give me a reason as to how they sell out when the Host says, "First time presented".  What the hay?  How sold out!

I don't have the QVC app because I already get so many emails from them now it's crazy.  

My daughter (the youngest Colorado daughter) keeps track of my bills and emails, etc.  I already get 20-25 in one day (probably more).  Useless QVC junk!

I can't imagine if I get the app what it will be.  Everyone sells our emails.  The bank even does (read the small print).

I'm calling out to my friends....I used to be able to just buy my 2X no problem.  I know all about QVC 2 and 3 but every time I look they are things and clothes that are weird sizes and often on film...repeats.

My neck is killing me (did you know your head is the size of a bolling ball and weighs about the same.

Heh!  Heh!  Some heads are bigger than others...right ladies.  Smile and hope everyone has a marvelous day.  It's beautiful here in Northern Virginia.  

Last night...not so much.  My friend (58 years and counting) lives in Springfield.  She lost 3 trees in her tiny yard.  She just texted and said it was a microburst.  Her husband died about 2 years ago now, maybe a little later.  The 4 of us, my husband, myself, her husband and her (Linda)...2 Linda's) were (are) best friends.  

OMG!  I just figured it out.  Now there's just 2 of us.  We all 4 were together 7 years before I had children.  Yes, I think it's close to 57-58 years at least.

Never an argument.  Did everything together.  Pretty good huh?  Not unusual for the way life used to be.  Don't get me started............

IMO, L, XL and 1X are the most popular sizes.  I sometimes go to Lunchtime Specials and it's mostly xxs, xs, s, 3x, etc.  Rarely in my size of L.  They seem to not bring enough of the most popular sizes so they sell out quickly.

As far as clothes selling out fast, I don't have an answer as to why or who is buying them. It certainly isn't me.

I think QVC might be bringing in smaller quantities of clothing. Controlling inventory is a way to save on expenses.

I agree with you about the lower inventory.  I also think that some sizes are more popular than others.

I think people "put in cart" and hog stuff till they get the money to pay for.

We folks that already have the money don't get it unless QVC goes ahead and takes it out of a persons

cart and gives to a credit card buyer.

If you notice now during every show the host will say "don't leave in your cart check out now". Even the venders will remind people.

Yes, agree. They are bringing in lesser amounts. That way they can hype up their selling tactics about selling out.
