Here in southern maine, just a little wind,rainned for just a few minutes, was hoping for more rain ,but no , it is so darn dry here.

Actually, the sun came out about 3:15 and I picked up all debris on the front lawn that would cause a problem when DH mowed. Tomorrow, the back !

one major problem: at 3:00 I went out to fill a huge flower pot with some Stella D'Oro transplant. Since I spill some potting soil on the brick patio, I hosed it off.

Well, it turned out that we had lost power about the same time. That meant the reason the hose stopped spraying was that the well pump went off and I emptied all the reserve water.

NO good deed goes unpunished !

The kicker was that when I later reported the outage, the message was that they didn't know what the problem was so no idea of when it would be repaired.

I live on the Upper Cape of Cape Cod and we received about a 1/2 hour of rain but the winds stuck around for several hours.

@JaneMarple I know this is off-topic but I'm doing a bit of lol @ Upper Cape. Upper arm, Chatham at the elbow, and the forearm/fingers at P-town.

Which is east, which is west, tourists want to know. LOL

Blew by us yesterday. A lot of trees down. My office (Western Nassau, close to Queens County) lost power and was still without power today. My son was stuck in Penn Station for hours waiting for a train. I asked if everyone was wearing masks, and he said no. I hoping he is not going to get sick. Today was quiet. Still waiting for the tree that went down in front of our house to be removed.

Do the math.
