interesting topic. I have the dot so I just asked Alexa to spell berserk and she spelled it correctly. I do have a problem with her being able to answer questions. I thought I was clear asking a simple question but she says "hum, I can't find the answer to your question"  I'm still trying to figure her out.  I mostly have her play my favorite Pandora station.

I have tried that...she either plays what she wants...or just shuts down....my grandson tried, too and got the same results...thank you anyway....i appreciate you reply...

I am so glad I never got one of these things.  She would definitely have trouble with my German accent.

I was telling my Alexa dot that she is stupid too! "I'm not quite sure how to help you with that" is all she ever says. 

What I funny is that anytime anyone says "Alexa" on TV, she perks right up!  For instance, that Domino's commercial where they mention her, I'm always afraid pizza is going to show up at my door.

@Annabellethecat66I don't own either, but I've seen both work and work well.

 

Any chance you pronounced berserk slightly different when you tried Siri?  I can't think of any other reason right now that got you the wrong answer.
