My granddaughter lives in the hub of the movie industry, and is in the business. She would not need a butt lift or implant, but she told me many girls wear these spanx type pants with buns in the rear. They look pretty real too. They also wear the spanx type thing with hips for those that are straighter figured. Many wear these things to auditions..also they sell a shaper that lifts from all over to form a back porch lol.. Who knew? My butt is flatter than I would like, but I would feel funny with a fake butt. What if it fell off or something....lol
i remember back in the 70"s the king of under thngs Fredricks of Hollywood, sold them! They were a long girdle with padded butt.

I don't know anyone who has them. It seems that celebrities are more known for this procedure and I have heard that in Brazil people really seem to like this procedure as they are very into not only fit bodies, but curvy figures as well. The exaggerated behind seems to be a look which has caught on with rappers, etc. It seems like breast implants are pretty common but the butt thing, I don't think as much.

I don't know anyone that has butt implants or had fat injected into their butts.
I honestly don't care for that huge back end at all.

Some ethnic groups have always considered a more prominent butt only on a woman as beautiful. The trend now is exaggerate it. It's not just women. Almost all athletes have very prominent butts. Many baseball players have it. Football players too. Men with larger muscular butts are more powerful.and faster. So it means beauty for women, but something more powerful in sports . Gymnast have prominent butts too, but in proportion to their size. Not the exaggeration one finds in the entertainment business.
Big difference between a butt stuffed with stored fat and a great and shapely muscular butt!
Better then having it in your belly. That is very, very dangerous. and will shorten your life. You pear shape gals are in a lot better shape.

Somehow, unless the act of sitting has become excessively painful, I can’t imagine anyone “needing” one (or two).
I am happy enough that my eyes are on my face, omitting the necessity of staring at THAT, except in a mirror, but having to consider the aesthetics of my own butt would certainly be something I just don’t have the time for.

From one whose butt has been disappearing it seems this last decade, I do not see this thing with people wanting bigger butts...
I would just like my old butt back and with nothing added to it! 😀

Butt implants are a booming business, just watch Botched! I have seen several episodes where women come in to get their's fixed or replaced, because they went the cheap route and of course they started having problems!!! I can't believe these women want these huge butts, but they do....
They do also have the Butt Shaping undies that are very popular. I would suspect that many stars wear these on the Red Carpet......
Look at the Kardashians!!!!!! Their butts are awful to me, my own personal opinion!

No idea if I'd be able to tell if anyone has these. It isn't something I've ever thought about.
