Is Saturday Night Live, new episode, on tonight?   Maybe there's such a skit? heh

@monicakm  I remember Teddy Ruxpin. I took my niece to the Ice Capades many many years ago featuring Teddy Ruxpin.  We had front row seats and the beautiful skaters ask my niece if she wanted to be in the show. They asked a lot of the children and they had a wagon the children got in and Teddy Ruxpin pulled them around the skating rink a few times.  She is in her forties now and still talks about that moment...😊

Are are we twins? LOLOL

We took our daughter to see Teddy Ruxpin

on ice and had front row seats AND they asked

her to be part of the show.  Being the ham that she

was, she jumped at the chance.  We also saw

the Get-Along-Gang on Ice.  Saw Sesame Street on Ice

in Dallas.  Wait, I don't recall if the Sesame Street show was

on ice or not.  Did you happen to drive to a different state

to buy a Baby Kermit and Miss Piggy because every Toys R Us

in Texas was out??  I'll have to see if she remembers that last one.

@monicakm  We could be twins...lol. I took her to lots of ice shows, I enjoyed them as much as she did.

I just texted my nephew to see if he remembered these shows as well as driving to LA to get some stuffed animals lol  He did and he remembered driving to LA but didn't remember why.  I enjoyed them too  but mostly enjoyed watching them see these animations come to life.

That's a great question!  I know a lot of the ways he will react to things and can anticipate a lot of his trigger points and also things that he likes and dislikes.  After all these years, DH still doesn't seem to know or have figured out most or even a lot of the most basic things about me.  It's frustrating at times.  For instance ---  I will say to him --- didn't you realize that what you said would upset me? Or -- didn't you stop and think that when you did this or that, that I would not like it??  Nope --- oh, well, what can you do?  Some people are just not very intuitive, no matter whether male or female, I think.  Or observant either!

Aw, I love this happy ending Smiley Happy  My dad and husband have done that.  One time my dad took my daughter out for lunch (his birthday) when she was around 5 or 6.  SHE came home with a birthday present.  It was his birthday present to buy her a Teddy Ruxpin.  Anyone remember Teddy Ruxpin?
