Re: Hosts talking about everything but the product

I go online to see if the Q is carrying something I need to buy. I just ordered a black fleece hooded jacket on line. That said, I also enjoy Shawn's presentation on Monday night as well as the show with Shawn and Rick and Shawn and Nancy. I always get new ideas and sometimes order.
I guess I felt that  I needed to change the tone of these blogs.

Re: Hosts talking about everything but the product

A perfect example of what irks me was the set of two plug-in air purifiers Alberti presented a while ago.  I was interested.  I listened to the entire presentation and not once did either he or the vendor rep say how long they remained effective.  I went to the product page and nothing was listed about that there either.

If I have to go searching other sites for this type of information, why should I buy it at QVC?

For $80 I'm not buying if I don't know how long the product will work.

Hey all you lovely posters complaining in this thread...QVC doesn't care what you think.  They prove it every day. I've read and been a part of this type of complaint for a few years.  Nothing changes, so don't waste your time. The annoying host yakity yak is here to stay at the Q.

@geezerette

While I mean no disrespect, since the air purifiers you are referring to are "plug-in" purifiers, as long as the electricity is connected and functioning, the air purifiers are effective.

Again, I may have missed something.

How about when they are selling a flashlight they point it at the camera. When aI buy a flashlight, I find a dark area of the store and point it there. Not at my face.

Air purifiers need filters to "purify" the air.  At least all my other ones do.  I assume these work the same way.

If they don't, and are purifying the air as long as they're plugged in as you say, that's another thing they should have mentioned.

Well, I guess the lack of information not only results in lost sales but also increases customer returns...

Re: Hosts talking about everything but the product

I have an old I phone. When QVC updated their app a few years back, it would not work on my phone. So I go thru Rakuten to get to QVC. I can see the product and the videos and order that way. BUT I cannot get the details such as sizing or fabric content. I hit the description line and nothing shows up. I am NOT going to run and turn on my computer to get info the hosts were too otherwise busy or lazy to share.
