Im going back 29 years but didnt Jane t say good bye to us and then come back? Does anyone remember how long she was gone?

@mollymaggie Yes. Jane left for a couple of years to start a business of her own.

Yes, you are correct. I don't remember exactly but I think it was several years. She was going to start her own business. I think I also read she was upset re how qvc treated her husband who worked there then.

Wasn't her husband let go so she left too? They had a silver jewelry business for awhile.

I remember that she left for a couple of years and started a business of her own with silver jewelry. Apparently that didn't go very well.

There were some rumors that something had happened to her husband's job and she needed tocome back. Also some other rumors that she really left because she wanted to get braces on her teeth and didn't want to appear on air wearingthem.

Who really knows and honestly who really cares. But it does annoy me a bit when she says she's been there for X number of years when she really was gone for about two or so.

She left twice. The first time she was fired and they asked her to come back. The second time she, sold her on silver jewelry or her website and then came back. I believe her husband left QVC just before she did the second time.

Jane must have left the second time on good terms, I can't imagine the Q would hire her back if she didn't. Poor Jane, can you imagine being fired from the Q for your looks, if I remember correctly she mentioned that on air one time.Why did they hire her in the first place if they didn't like her look!
