March starts on Sunday. This has been a horrific winter for a lot of people, not just the weather but personal drama. I am sending prayers that this Spring will renew everyone's spirits, and give us the faith and strength to effectively deal with our lives.

I agree! Spring is the season of renewal and rebirth. I think sometimes it is a much better time to start over or begin again than our traditional new year resolution/ changes time.

Spirits seem to be lifted with the increasing temperatures and the warmth of the sunshine, so here is hoping everyone is renewed and excited for the upcoming season.

Spring is just a relief from this terrible winter. Usually hot hot summer we start to forget the winter.

Lovely and thoughtful thread [thanks O/P] I fell an bruised and sprained my arm last Thursday [all black and blue] worst pain then when I had shingles or when I broke my wrist three years ago. I fell on ice on black top and I fell hard. After this winter I will never ever complain about the summer again. In fact I am looking forward to the sun and the vitamin D.

In Michigan, last winter was a lot worse. This one has given us some nicer days.

I don't even remember a winter this bad in my life. I am sorry you fell. I pray it heals quickly. Fortunately I didn't fall but even with heat on, my pipes froze and water came pouring out of my ceiling from the upstairs. This has never happened before. Luckily I have a good plumber who came out within the hour and fixed the broken pipe. But now the damage has to be repaired. I was fortunate but I feel so bad for people this winter.

I am typing with one hand now.. but, I feel better. My kitchen sink is stuffed up with black water and ice. I will have to call someone in tomorrow. I did run my facet in all my sinks and bathroom. but, the kitchen one is a mess... this winter is horrible with no end in sight. I thank you for your prayers. You be careful too.
