I, too, am heartened to see him get such accolades here. Better late than never. But, you know, he seems like the kind of person who would refuse to let any negativity deter him from his goals to help humanity in so many ways. A dedicated but humble, soft-spoken hero. A true role model.

Was my very unprovocative comment about President Jimmy Carter removed?

I simply wished him well and said that he was upright, moral (and I don't recall what else I wrote since I posted yesterday).

Flabbergasted! Kind words about a President were removed. I'm now tempted to copy and save all my posts to see what was deemed offensive.

This is an unfortunate state of affairs when we cannot praise a former U.S. President for his obvious, apparent virtues.

Humility, reverence, kindness, intelligence, true devotion to country, a sense of what is right. Is it a bad thing to laud Jimmy Carter?

Glad that President Carter is okay. Can't believe he got right back out there and went back to work after being released from the hospital. He is a hard worker with a huge heart and is truly dedicated to helping others.
