Think that the people of today are the first to resist wearing a mask?
Nope, they're not.
They are just following in the footsteps of the Anti Mask Legue of 1918.
This is an interesting article that talks about how there was a segment of society that resisted mask wearing, even though, it was known to prevent, or at least slow the spread of the flu.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
I have broken the link, but, if interested, it's worth the read.
www . business insider . Com / San Francisco anti-mask league 1918 Spanish flu pandemic.

Regrettably, I was unable to read the article because I use Ad Blocker.
Can you copy and past it for those like me?

@Anonymous032819, for future reference if you want to post an URL without it being a live link simply remove any text before the site name.
For example, if you post your link without the spaces it would be a live link and could cause the post to be removed. However, if you post businessinsider.com/san-francisco-anti-mask-league-1918-spanish-flu-pandemic-2020-5?op=1 the link is no longer live and easier for a reader to C&P. If there is https// before the www in the link that too should be removed.

I wonder how many of them made it to 1919.
