His dimples, how merry..

You know how you suddenly think of something you have never considered before? I thought of this: In the famous poem "Twas the Night before Christmas" when speaking of Santa's physical appearance it says "his dimples how merry". Think of this for second. If Santa has a BEARD how did anyone see dimples? The poem states his beard was white as snow so he for sure had a beard. Weird how I just thought of this after a life time of hearing the poem.

It depends on where the dimples are. My son has a full beard but you can still see most of his dimple. A fellow I worked with had dimples but when he grew a beard you couldn't see them.

I'm a sucker for dimples, just love them. My daughter has one small one, other than that no dimples in my family. However, we were blessed with high cheek bones 😂

@KingstonMom I married him almost 50 years ago! Well, I'll say that my husband looked a lot like that guy (although never had curly hair) and yeah, those dimples maybe sealed the deal!

Plus he is a wonderful man God blessed me with! He could have done a lot better than me! But he stil puts up with me! LOL!!! And he still has those dimples working for him!
