Chased after his dog in bare feet Friday, hasn't been seen since. I have been following this closely. Anyone else?

His name is Michael Herdman, 36, firefighter for Arcadia, Ca. I sure hope they find him TODAY.

A nine year old girl was lost in the forest up here overnight and was found OK.

Hi Noel, the weather has been warm but not blistering hot. Night has been in the 50s, so survivable but it's been almost a week and today they are going all out to find him.

Really praying for this guy and hoping his survival skills are keeping him safe.

They just announced they found his dog but it immediately escaped again. No sign of the fireman but they are using drones to try to spot him.

Tam, are you still in the area? Do you know if there are perhaps abandoned mines, hidden away pot farms/meth labs in this area?

They thought they may have seen the dog yesterday. I saw pics of the terrain. So rough with rocks the size of a small car. I heard a rescuer today was bitten by a rattlesnake and had to be airlifted out. I sure hope they find him today. I really thought today would be the day.
