He can really get into some of the characters he plays. A couple of times I didn't even recognize him.

I like the creativity and variety; it's better than watching the exact same commercial over and over. At least they are all tongue in cheek and not stupidly written as many other commercials. How about "Shoe Fetish Rob Lowe" ( we'll get to see a lot of pretty shoes!) or a "Christian Grey SM Rob Lowe" ( tame, not too risqué for TV, more silly than anything real)?

I'm thinking it was Charlie's brother, Emilio Estevez, who was one of the brat pack, but I could be wrong.

I also loved him in 'Behind The Candelabra'. He is so awesome at playing super creepy characters!

I rather like the commercials. I also agree that it's nice he can poke fun at himself like this. They are definitely kind of creepy but they are somewhat humorous.

He played a couple of other real people in some Lifetime movies and was pretty good! That Peterson guy (cop and wife-killer in Illinois) movie was very good with him as the lead character. (sorry I forgot which Peterson it was - there were three different ones and I get the first names mixed up)

Never saw them except when Ellen showed them when he was on her show. I dvr everything so I can trash most of the ads..lol.

i am a rob lowe fan......loved him in brothers and sisters and i enjoy these commercials. i dont think i have seen ALL of them though. his books are excellent beach reads for the summer.

he was great in that also.....they need him to make a tv movie about that "doctor."

I like him too. I think he is a good actor and respect him for turning his life around. But when those commercials come on , I can't change the channel fast enough. Doesn't he have enough money without doing silly, creepy, dumb commercials?
