won't last as long as a June frost I'm not worried. When that sun pops out it'll be long gone.  As long as it don't hail !  God, I hate hail ! have to fight with insurance.   Winds are a horror here, too.

 

Our house is constructed of 2 by 6's instead of 2X4's, so , hoping that it can stand better winds.

nope.....jacuzzi tub climb in that trough I guess. Hubbo says he's ready to go anyway wouldn't break his heart.
