What's these little purple flowers called. After the 'wet' weather we've had my yard is a bloom.
Not blue bonnets I think they're farther South.
maybe it's just a type of weed, but, is pretty !

She's living in the Southwest lot longer then I have, so, she probably knows what they are. Hubbo will mow over them hahahhaha so I grabbed a shot while I could

They look like wild phlox.

@SharkE. I don't think I've ever seen them before. Texas has the most gorgeous wildflowers and after this wet winter, they should be spectacular. A group of us from work once drove from Midland to Dallas for a meeting in early April and I'll never forget the flowers we saw. Just don't wear blu-blocker sunglasses; they make bluebonnets look black.

yeah, these are tiny purple flowers. Todays paper said the bluebonnets are in Central Tx and Hill Country. I've got almost my whole property covered with them that is not hit by the sprinkler system. The outlying areas that is usually ugly. I think that's a first since I moved here in 2010.

I happened to think of wild primroses but they bloom off and on all summer, not one and done in the spring.

@SharkE. Let them die and go to seed before mowing and maybe they'll be back next year. See? Those winds blow in good things.

From the photo it looks like it could be wild clover.
