Working in an inner city hospital for 42 years I know way more than I ever wanted to about people who use heroine and other drugs - and as I already said - if you have a brain - you can see when someone is high on drugs. it doesn't take a rocket scientist.

Obviously, you are not familiar with people who are using heroine !!! You are answering something you don't know anything about.

You have no idea what you are talking about. My friend who became addicted to pain meds switched to heroin because it was cheaper. No one knew she was using heroin until they found out she was stealing money and that includes her brother who was a doctor. Not all heroin addicts are street bums who can't hide their addiction. Many are average people who work and parent and people are absolutely shocked when they find out. They hide it very well.

It's heroin. Not heroine.

Heroine is female for a hero.

In a hospital environment you are seeing the worst of the worst. You aren't seeing the soccer moms and millions of other people who have become very good at hiding their addictions. There are many functional addicts out there that you would never know in a million years they are addicts.
