It's nice to hear a positive story regarding good cops who do their jobs and have a semblance of human compassion and positive human interaction. It's the few bad ones who make it difficult on the majority of good law enforcement officers.

Personally,I cannot comprehend why ANYONE would sign up to be a policeman these days. For instance:

If you're a good person, you already know there are good officers. No need to shout it from the mountaintops or back to the Negatives. We know.

If we don't shout the good from the mountain tops, then just what are the mountain tops for?

Just because 'we know' doesn't mean the rest of the world doesn't need a reminder.

We could shout, but so many don't listen.

When we're sitting on that 'mountain' with other good, kind people, we all look around & give each other that 'knowing nod' of quiet confidence.

Yeah, we just...know.

If we are truly going to make an effort to mend some of the fences that have been broken in this area, we have to get past just preaching to the choir.

Word must get out regularly, show the comminity how many good deeds are done, by LE, by ordinary citizens, and anyone. These are the kinds of things that heal.

There is an absolute necessity that 'good news' involving LE or anyone else gets reported as widely as the negative stuff.
