@mistriTsquirrel  I would never argue that they are smart!  I just didn't know they also were great "watch animals."  I have a little friend I like to call "Rocky" who visits outside my window at work every day.  Unfortunately, his favorite tree (also near my window) is dying, and I fear when they remove it I will also lose my little friend!

I've been feeding her and her clan for 8 long years! She gets plenty of nuts & things on the ground. I draw the line at the feeder.

Don't worry, she knows what's going on!

She just wants to be a nuisance. Come May, she'll spring down from the roof onto the hummingbird feeder.

Anyway, she has been good since the red pole incident.

Aww, he knew something was wrong. I like squirrels.  There’s something endearing about them and their antics.  I try to take photos of them when I see them in their cuteness.  Who knew they would be a good house guard?
