@Bri63 I have always thought the top is the prettiest part of the dress. The long lace sleeves, and bodice are always so feminine
I have never cared for strapless wedding gowns, they all look the same to me

I thought princess Margaret had a pretty wedding dress. It was very simple, but elegant. Princess Anne' s sort of looked like something from Camelot

Camelot was all the rage in the 1960's and that is how the sleeves were fashioned
President Johnson's daughter. Lucy, had a Camelot themed wedding ,also @Sweet_Serenity

Exactly what I said: Princess Diana's wedding dress fit the 80's decadence. The only difference was Queen Victoria: She changed everything, wearing white.

I can't find any pics of Lucy(Luci) bridemaids. My sil and I watched the wedding ,laughing
They had dunce hats ,with long flowing veils on their heads..I don't know the correct term for them, but they looked just like dunce hats
