On Wednesday next week, there's more rain predicted.
@Puzzle Piece. Just saw video on the noon news of mud slides. So very sad for people in California, like adding insult to injury. Are most people getting Federal Disaster funds okay?

Here in CT we have one of our famous snow to sleet to rain events coming tomorrow. The messiest of all precipitation possibilities, and most dangerous for the trees.

@Puzzle Piece- I'm in So. Cal. also and all our local meteorologists are saying no more rain until the end of Feb. The squall that came through yesterday brought us a lot of rain and wind. So much mud and debri in the fire areas. Hope everyone stays safe. They said this morning that downtown L.A, got 2.8 inches of rain, that's a lot for downtown. Foothills got a lot more than that.

It's going to be a mess to clean the burn areas and all the mud. There will be lots to clean up for many months. Then there are those that live in the landslide that is occuring. Their home are literally sliding towards the ocean.

For Maryalnd, no snow but plenty rain. About half an inch on Saturday with rain continuing to Sunday. with another half of an inch. But i'm watching another snow event, About 5" of snow on Wednesday and continuing on Thursday with another 2 ". Weather Underground is calling them snow showers (?) For both days.
I looked it up: Snow Flurries: Light snow falling for short durations. No accumulation or light dusting is all that is expected. Snow Showers: Snow falling at varying intensities for brief periods of time. Some accumulation is possible.

I'm in California, around Silicon Valley. Wow it rained Weds and didn't stop til last night. That's it no more predicted for a while. I will tell you, it pored like I haven't seen in years. Just pounded, howled. The streets filled up, but drained when it slowed a bit in morning. My granddaughters and daughter is around west hills and studio city. It rained big time yesterday. They need it . But don't want too much at once due to mudslides and erosion.
