My husband received 2 of those instant gift CREDIT cards from work as gifts from his workers. (he is a boss). The cards have not worked at any stores or gas stations after numerous attempts.
Soooo, I called the 1-866 numbers on the back. Well all you get is recording after recording. I tried to hit 0 hoping to get a rep. I have yelled into the phone may I please talk to a customer rep to NO avail. I went on the websites AND checked via the phone by inputting the credit card numbers on the front and it says EACH card has a balance of $60.00 AVAILABLE yet they are NOT good anywhere
I cant get a HUMAN being and I'm SO mad. This is a total of $120 dollars between the 2 cards and no one takes them!?! What a rip off!
To add; My daughter works in a restaurant and she told me people come in all the time with them and they are declined even though they have balances.
There is no way to speak to anyone, just a written address so I am going to write to them. If I don't hear back, I am going to report them to the State Attorney Generals Office next because I've had it.
My husband says oh just shred them. NO, they have balances ON the cards and they should make good for them! His workers work very hard at their jobs and spent hard earned money on these cards. So I'm not letting it go.
Has anyone ever had this happen and what did you do?
