Help with Luminara Pillar candle

Hi--I am hoping someone out there has some suggestions for me. I dropped my Luminara pillar candle and the battery "door" broke. A part that holds the door snapped off and now it won't stay closed. I emailed Luminara and they said they don't see replacement parts just the remote. To be honest, I'm shocked at this as these candles are not cheap and I thought they would have better customer service to help. Does anyone know where I could purchase the battery cover? The candle still works. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I have had that happen with other brands, I still use them the batteries don't fall out.

In a pinch, put a strip of duct tape across the batteries, to hold them in place.

If their company doesn't have parts, no one else is likely to either.

Re: Help with Luminara Pillar candle

I have so many different products that run on batteries. I would have never expected any of them to have a replacement battery cover when duct tape, strapping tape, package tape, or any thick heavy wide tape does the trick.

@donniesmom - I have had this happen too! I just use a piece of duct tape. It might be a little inconvenient, but the cover stays on!   Smiley Happy

Thanks for all of your help. I will try duct tape as the batteries fall out without the door piece holding it.

Re: Help with Luminara Pillar candle

@donniesmom I have different colors of duct tape so I use the color that matches. For some reason this happens to my remote control, so those get black tape.
