I would send an Amazon gift card in a lovely greeting card.

That way she can get what she actually wants or needs.

You could choose the $15.00 or $25.00 one.

Unless you know someone's state of health, mental and physical, and their likes and dislikes, it is impossible to know what to send.

My own mother has been a 10-year struggle to get anything she likes, can use, or even will use or recognize that it is for her.  I am talking from 30 years of knowing people who aren't doing well, and gifting can (not in every case) but can be impossible.

I feel sorry for people trying to figure out what is appropriate for the given situation.

Demdaco Giving Heart.   Here or on their own website. I have gifted it on many occasions and everyone has loved it.

@meem120  Thanks for this suggestion, I think it will be perfect.  I just placed the order.

@Biftu  Im glad you liked it.  Everyone that I have sent it to loves it.  Its such a sweet little gift. The saying attatched to the pillow is wonderful.  It lets them know theyre not alone and someone is there. I love it.
