Help please------No sound on my computer!

I was cleaning my computer room and trying to organize all the cords. I unplugged several devices in the process, and now I just noticed I don't have any sound on my computer. Does anyone know what might be wrong? Is it possible something is still unplugged? With modems and routers and all the rest there are just too many cords and wires to keep track of! I shouldn't have unplugged anything! Any ideas? Thanks!
