One of our PBS stations has been having a season 6 marathon today leading into the new More DA Manners, followed by the original Manners show.
The 6th is the final show which was broadcast Christmas night in the UK. I've seen it, and loved it!
We are not missing any episodes here.

Downton Abbey decided NOT to show its last episode the night of the Oscars.
The two hour finale will be next week.
Enjoy the Academy Awards.

I think that PBS did not want to compete with the Oscars so they are running a special about the manners of Downton. I'll be watching since I have no interest in the Academy Awards. Next week we will see the final Downton episode. I will be going through Downton withdrawal a week from now.

Oh I see, whew, well I got a post from my friend who will be at the Oscars tonight...he is getting ready and showing the hotel he is at now........he is fabulous and I am blessed to be his friend. I know he is on cloud nine. But this is not his first red carpet. Thank you for reminding me about the Oscars.........M was showing video on my Facebook on LA at the Oscars and I was more worried about Downton. LOL

@DowntonAbbeythis is what I find on my guide for tonight 2/28/2016
Thomas extends an offer to Andy 3:30-4:30 MT
war reaches climax 4:30
mary has flashbacks 5:30
2 complicated romances 6:30-8:00
Then the Manners 8:00
Hope this helps as I don't watch it, but I had TV on and this info was easy.

Episode 6 is airing RIGHT NOW in Maryland.
I was in the hospital this time last week. I was diagnoised with Diververticulitis. My problem is in the small colon - right side. If you have pain/fever on the left it is your large intestine. I incorrectly self-diagnosised myself and thought it was my appendix. Since I am not a cave woman there is no purpose for that part of the digestive system.
I am home NOW but still feel crappy. Soft foods ... still. I discovered Breyers LACTOSE FREE ice cream - and it is tasty with NO after effects (tooting, burping ...).
I am grateful to be home and watching Downton Abbey.
