Maybe her newest one? I have a couple of hers from 8-10 years ago that I like.

If you have a library near you, you can browse her books there and make a decision

@jezzie Sorry I can't.  How about a Pioneer Woman item?  Walmart I think carries them.

@jezzie  Her best recipes are on her website for free. Perhaps better to buy some of her bakers and other kitchen utensils or table settings. My DD loves her floral motifs.

ETA: All that being said, I do like to curl up with a good cookbook. So you might want to go on her website and take a look at her cookbooks. The Super Easy looks interesting.

@jezzie   How about her first one published in 2009--The Pioneer Woman Cooks:  Recipes from an Accidental Country Girl?

Amazon has it in stock in hardcover for $13.24.  I didn't check a lot of other sites but Barnes and  Noble carries her books and has this title for $24.49, also in hardcover.

And, as another mentioned Walmart carries her items, including books.

Hope this helps you find the perfect Pioneer Woman book for your friend.

If your friend doesn’t have any of her books, I also suggested going with her first one, Recipes from an Accidental Country Girl.

Another one I like that is a little different is the fun, A Year of Holidays.
