For three days now I have been calling the six Macy's in this country who are listed as having a particular coat that I want to purchase. The wool coat is my size, right color, etc.
One store in Green Acres Mall, Valley Stream, NY has 3 but they are in Last Call and I cannot order on line.
Not one store answers the phone in any of the depts. When I tried the Macy Hdqrtrs.#, the chat with us is a membership app.
Yes, I saw the coat on eBay for more money offered by a website that has a 66 risk factor.
Has anyone had success getting through to Women's Apparel line? My local Macy's printed the country-wide list for me but that is the end of

@jlkz Don't hold your breath with that Valley Stream Macys. They are very lax in that particular Macys.

You could try pressing the prompt for the executive offices of the particular store, you may get a live person there willing to help. Sometimes inventory count (especially with last act, thievery, etc) is off & they may not actually have three.

I don't think there is a prompt outside of regular depts and " contract " depts. Will try it once more....

Do you have a Macys in your area, if you go to the coat dept, one of the sales people could easily order the coat for you as a sale from one store to another or have it sent to your home. I wanted a dress in Macys and my store didnt have my size, the sales woman immediately ordered it for me from a different store and had it sent to my home, it arrived in a few days, no shipping charge.

So you can't find the item online, by using the ID tag on the item and typing into the search bar. They also have live chat on their site.

I've experienced Macy's showing an item available at several stores when actually it's not in stock.

The "chat" turns out to be from a $ membership site....not Macy's. I found this out after typing a lengthy description of my problem.

It seems that being Last Call precludes ordering on line by self or by on line assistant.
They must not really want any sales.
Theybalso do not want to be bothered answering the phone in their depts either.
I cancelled my Macy's credit card a few years ago....doesn't look like I want another one after this helpfulness.
I finally found the coat for less than the Last Call price on Bristol Apparel site...free shipping and 30-day return.
