Help...all of my saved to folder AOL emails are gone!

also posted this in Electronics but thought I would add it here too...I am a free AOL email person and noticed this am that all my emails I had saved to a folder are just gone...3 yrs worth...anyone have any ideas on how to fix this by finding them....I am frustated...just found out that the phone # for email tech help with AOL is for paying members only...thanks in advance!
