We switched to Consumer Cellular from Verizon.  Our bill is now $50.00 a month instead of 140.00.  Did not see any decline in service and they are VERY nice to deal with

We did the same thing. We were nervous about switching but we are so pleased that we did.

Plan your meals and grocery shopping according to the grocery ads online.  Eat what's on sale that week.  Take advantage of BOGO deals.

Plan your shopping/errands/trips so gas usage is more efficient.

See if there's less expensive phone, TV, internet service with other providers.

Hello,buyornot, I save money on my food budget by cooking from scratch. 

Convenience foods cost too much.  I am just on my own, but if your family (or storage capacity) is large, buy in bulk at a place such as Costco.
