Are the owners providing you a place to stay? or are you staying with your boyfriend?

Why can't you stay home, RRR? I put a new one in my house a couple of months ago as mine had also sprung a leak. Only took about an hour and I was up and running again. Be careful not to turn the temp up too high, it shortens the life of the tank. Yes, I learned this the hard way ;-(

Excellent week. Returned from a wonderful vacation.

My week was a challenge. Today I got some info that a very disagreeable person was fired where I do my volunteer work. I honestly felt a relief and I know that's not a nice thing to feel about something like that.

Yes, it has been a good week for me and my family. Mom's follow-up doctor's appointment went better than expected, my husband and daughter had a safe trip to and from his out of state VA Medical Center appointment, I had a good medical checkup yesterday, and my younger daughter who drives a tractor trailer has not had to deal with any major storms in the area where she has delivered and picked up this week.
Hello RedTop you did have a great week and so happy all is well with your family. I am going to check on my apartment when my friend gets home to see how things are drying. Thank you and all for responding and posting. So today is Friday.......this month is going by fast.

Hello Love Roses.........well I am glad you feel relief since that person is gone. I don't know why people don't have manners at work. We all have to get alone with who we work with.

Hello garmer...........the carpet in the hallway was soaking wet........and the more I walked on it I was spreading the water.....so my landlord told me to stay somewhere else.......they put in two fans that blow water on the floor..........the pad was drying last night when I checked..........since my hot water tank is in my hall way to go to the bedroom or bathroom or kitchen I would have to be on the wet carpet so they said it was best to leave and not be on the carpet...........so I turned my air first to 65 and then yesterday I turned it to 72 I think. I will go back later today and see how wet the carpet and pad is.........then after they decide when to pick up the blowers they will have someone come in and put the carpet back down..........I did not know that raising the heat level would cause one to shorten the life but that should not matter.........he said he set it to 140 but I am going to let my boyfriend look at it because I like hot water and it is not hot at 100 degrees and it seems the hotter the water the longer I can stay in the shower. I will try taking a bath with the new hot water tank.........that would be nice because it has been 11 years since I have had a hot tub bath at home......only showers.

Oh I am sorry about that but if you don't have any car payments that is not too bad.........I am sure you got several quotes. I think it is a lot of work putting in a water pump because they have to take out so much of the engine area.
