Interesting observation and I don't know.  Perhaps to make him (them) seem more relatable?  If they dressed him in a fancy schmancy outfit people would be critical of him being a rich spoiled brat. Just a thought.

It's so nice to see new photos of baby Archie! He was such a beautiful baby, and is now an even more ADORABLE toddler. There is just something special about seeing tender photos of a mother and child. I also love Meghan's little to no makeup look, but she's gorgeous either way.😊

A child that age-of course he is sitting on her lap.  It doesn't matter who thinks he's walking or whatever.  When you read to a young child, you hold that child.

It was their choice and this comparison to Kate all the time is nonsense.

I'm so glad that the pictures of me and my son were never compared to another family member.

My eyes went to Archie first and I still see him first when I go back to these pics.  I also noticed Meghan is not all glammed up; even her gray roots are showing.

She loves her family; and that is all that matters.

One more thing-we all know the difference between "opinion" or "observation" and vitriol.

May wee Archie grow strong and healthy and may Meghan and Harry have a long life to enjoy their precious son.

I was referring to my other family members.  Especially not referring to anyone here on the high horse everytime Meghan is mentioned.

You totally missed my point. 

Whether a person is in the public eye or not, some "observers" and others who opine in the negative every. single. time are severely lacking any human kindness and that is troubling.

In all the years I've been here I've never heard of someone expressing an opinion as being on "the high horse". Or someone opining negatively about a person whose behavior invites a negative impression as "severely lacking any human kindness."

@Pearlee   Same thing happened to me. Seems no one else is allowed an opinion. I then deleted mine and just stay away. Too many posters on this board think they are in charge and no one else can have an opinion or think differently.

Such a cute video of Archie and his mom!  He definitely looks more like Harry with a touch of Meghan's father thrown in there.  It was nice for them to do this for Save The Children and to give us a peek at Archie on his first birthday. 

Personally, I don't understand why it bothers some if they were also trying to promote Meghan's vocal talents as well.  They want to become financially independent in order to pay for the Frogmore renovations as well as their security costs.  If this type of thing helps them to achieve that goal, it's a win-win all around.
