There were 2 grown men there --- I'm sure they could've handled whatever was going on.

@YorkieonmyPillow

Sorry that I misunderstood your post.

I think that if there were 2 men there and felt that they couldn't control her violent behaviour, then they did the right thing to call 911.

As her BF and brother, I'm sure they realized the repercussions, so to me that emphasises the urgency of the situation.

Heather Locklear's boyfriend was arrested for DUI just hours after the actress was busted for felony domestic violence.

Law enforcement sources tell us Chris Heisser was arrested at 12:43 AM Monday morning by the California State Highway Patrol. We're told he was spotted on the 101 freeway driving at a slow rate of speed -- officers pulled him over and conducted a field sobriety test. Chris blew a .19 and a .20 ... the 56-year-old was cited and released a short time later.

I don't understand why anyone would think strking a police officer would produce a good outcome.

the brother was totally right in calling the police. in this day and age you can never be TOO CAREFUL, especially now seeing how easy it is to get a gun. why take a chance?......someone was already getting hurt.

@Deaniewrote:

@Tinkrbl44  Good analysis. Yes, an addict is always an 'addict' and once clean and sober become a 'recovering addict' IMHO, all these so called shake and bake recovery centers do is sober them up and put them back out into the same set of environmental and cultural circumstances from which they came. Same set of triggers. So, is it all about the money, a revolving door of relapse, recovery and relapse?

It's about accepting that alcoholism is a disease and following a program whose model has proven successful for millions of recovering alocholics and addicts.

Ya gotta work the program for it to work.

Sheryl on The Talk made a joke that Heather should have told the cops don't they

know she was a cop on T.J. Hooker?

The situation did not really call for jokes.

Loved her on Dynasty as Sammy Jo.

@threecees  I agree that the joke was not in good taste.

I always thought she was so pretty and had the best hair in Hollywood (besides Jennifer Aniston).  I liked her on Dynasty and also liked her on Spin City.

She also played an attorney on Two And a Half Men.

Very humorous episode.

I still watch daily re-runs.

I'd like to see Heather appear on more sit-coms, or anything (tv series, movies, etc., etc.) at all.  Very talented.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

p.s.  What a shame.  All of that talent, and probably enough money to live a comfortable life.

I guess it isn't easy for some/many people who are battling drug addiction, anger issues, etc.  Allegedly re: Heather.

Wishing her the best.
