Heather's life was not about one day.  It was years of working for the good of all.

I've been in a lot of protest marches over the years, I never felt I was in danger and I never was.

Just watched her mom's eulogy on YT.  Very inspiring.

I watched it on C-Span.  It's funny how many people will remember you through negatives.  She had a co-worker who talked about how she was impossible until she'd had her morning coffee, because she wasn't a morning person.

it was her boss, the guy who hired her. who talked about how she always brought in the human element for every bankruptcy case they handled.  Heather's mother hugged him.

So we all stand by and ignore the hate because of fear?  I don't think so.

So many 60's and 70's songs coming to mind this week:

Blowing In the Wind

Imagine

Give Peace a Chance

United We Stand

Get Up, Stand Up

What the World Need Now

If I Could Dream

What's Going On

A Change is Gonna Come

Wake Up Everybody
