We've been in triple digits and breaking records since this past weekend. Thank goodness Mr Carrier invented air conditioning.

exactly why I hate living in Phoenix...115 this weekend. Can't wait to move. I don't want to hear "its a dry heat" It is still HOT!!!

It will be brutal. We will be sitting at baseball games on Sat cheering on our grandson. Can you say sunscreen? Taking extra water with us!!

I have a portable AC, the kind with a hose that goes out a window. It's a big AC and it cools my whole living area. I bought a second one just in case that one stops working which it did one time and I will never go through that again!

This is the time of year when, like Minnesotans in January, I hunker down and stay inside. Tomorrow is supposed to be the first of several days of at or near 100° in Albuquerque and today is our 71st day with no measurable rainfall...more where I live. If I have to do something outside, I do it early when its cool. Due to our altitude it's actually chilly early.
