It’s supposed to be 115 here today in SoCal, even 90-100 at the beaches and I think 106 in downtown LA. I feel so bad for human and animal that will be outside in it. Monsoonal flow coming in Saturday with only a slight drop in temps and chance of thunderstorms.

I saw where Death Valley was 120. Cool here in Tx just 86 today LOL

Thank God the 4th was on a work day   .  Wild fire worry was  helped

Here in the high desert of New Mexico, we had a big thunderstorm last night with up to 2" of rain and a high today of 85°.  The relief is much appreciated.

We had a small one but not where I live on the west side of town. San Tan, Queen Creek in the south eastern part of the valley gets them much more than our side of town. It has to be huge for a haboob to get this way. Oh yea, it’s supposed to be cooler today. Only 112. I think the low this morning was around 94 or so.

I live in AZ... so high heat is common from May to Sept.  I empathize.  Yesterday our air conditioner went out.... we handled it the best we could till the repair person arrived today.  Our health issues make it imperative to have a/c....

It is 70 degrees at 11 AM here in the Seattle area.  Predicted high today is 75.  My perfect weather.
