@Luvsmyfam

According to weather dot com, the high in my area of Illinois will be 85 on Friday, 91 on Saturday and 90 on Sunday.  Not 105.

Are you thinking of the heat index?  It will probably feel like 105 with our thick humidity!

Here in Chicago "only" supposed to get to the low 90s!  I like 4 seasons and prefer the cold to the heat and humidity.  Could never, would never live in FL.

Sorry about the heat and humidity in IL.  Here in PA, we finally have nice weather - for a couple days anyway.  Drier air and temps in the 80's.

@Luvsmyfam    It would not be so bad if the humidity/dew point was low but it's not.  I cannot stand it this hot so i stay in as much as I can.  I am about 30 - 35 miles outside Chicago.  Stay cool.

It was so cool this morning in PA, my husband did his 4 mile walk and did not break a sweat. He said some older people in the park were wearing sweaters.

I think you may have misunderstood those temps.  I just checked, since my son lives in Chicago and hasn't mentioned anything about high temperatures.  Everything I checked online shows that your actual high temps for the next week will be in the upper 80s.  Maybe you heard "feels like" temperatures which factor in humidity and tell you how hot you'll feel.  That's not the actual temperature.

The only thing worse than our Chicago winters are our high taxes - on everything
