Weirdest hail stones falling just outside my city just about an hour ago, near Colorado Springs.

I could see how black the sky was then there was a tornado reported.

@SilleeMee  Yes, saw this on the news. Our son went to grad school in Denver. We were told, during frequent visits, to keep a blanket in the car to protect it from sudden hail storms.

It's very scary! @Shanus I hope that size hail never hits my area! But it can happen and it has in the past.

At 6:30 this morning it was already 78 degrees. Going into the mid 90's with a heat index in the 105 range. Yikes - definitely a good day to stay inside. We also have a Heat Advisory today until 9 tonight.

@riley1  I should be used to the heat/humidity growing up in NC. I still dread when summer comes. I wake up so early every morning to get as much accomplished and stay inside the rest of the day. After 7, I may venture out again to go to dinner, but when it’s this hot, I really don’t feel like eating out...or cooking.
