Heads Up, Just Thought Ya'll Would Want to Know...

I have bought with confidence over the years "As Is" Valerie and Bethlehem Lights products.  I've received perfect/near perfect items that function as intended, no scrapes, scratches, chips or damage of any kind. I always order Christmas tree trim and decor for NEXT yr to take advantage of the reduced pricing. And this January I've ordered quite a bit "As Is" by Valery.  Love the starry night, swirling snow trees and hurricanes and at "As Is" I can afford to gift out in various colors.

 

Until this year... I've received multiple orders with issues: broken star off tallest tree, chip/crack in glass hurricane, WRONG COLOR THAT WAS ANOTHER CUSTOMER'S RETURN INCLUDING RETURN DOCUMENTATION showing C*** A***, **** North Carolina name, address, transaction info! Still waiting for return UPS labels for both pkgs so that I can receive refunds for the original order and my replacement order.

 

Ordered a garland and received instead 4 cheap picks that are not even Valerie's. Still waiting for UPS label to return so that reorder can be made for me.

 

Ordered 3 large candle rings to go with garland, instead today received 4 gingerbread & ornament picks. Another pkg needing UPS return label because they are out of stock now and I have to wait yet again for refund.

 

Then last week received Betty *** from *** TN  order for Denim&Co pants. I have no clue WHY I received them nor which of my orders was intended to be send. Full order info including Betty's name/address/transaction detail of course was in the pkg.

 

Still waiting on UPS labels to be provided so that I can return all the screw ups to receive my money back. I've chatted with cust svc on these issue multiple times. I've made numerous calls to QVC cust care and spoke to supervisor even escalated to a Manager that I'm still waiting to hear from.  Oh I've spoken to some nice cust svc reps and several who are irritated I dragged them from their social media, BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED!

 

It would seem the CEO Market Talk was timely, seems like QVC's wheels are falling off!

 

Lessons Learned:  (1) Wait for the dust to settle, make sure all orders and refunds are received and then close my account never to buy from this

company again.  (2) MAKE SURE TO REMOVE IDENTIFYING INFO ON ANYTHING YOU SEND BACK TO QVC  other than the return form showing order number and item description and any control numbers used by QVC.   USE A SHARPIE AND BLACK OUT YOUR NAME/ADDRESS ON LABEL YOUR CONTROL RETURN NUMBER IS ON THE LABEL. YOUr INFO CAN AND LIKELY WLL BE SENT TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER JUST AS I'VE RECEVIED TWO CUSTOMER'S PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Sorry you have had all of those issues but that's why I don't buy any "as is" anything and never have over the 20 yrs I have shopped QVC or HSN.  I want what I order to be new and not worn or used by anyone else.  Take care

If you use the QR code return method none of that information is in the package you're returning. @SEGardener

Then these are older returns that have never been oopened/checked by QVC.  I have the physical documentation for all three ORDERS the two that were returns and the new order.

 

You obviously  missed my point.  I have received customer information for items that have been sent to me.

 

I have rarely returned items and have never used the QR code for return.

But that was a new order for B*** in *** TN was not a return...resold as "As Is"

I order decor and Christmas Trees.  All have been received in original condition.

I only buy new" kitchen items, no clothing.  My "as is" purchases are only Valerie Christmas trim and decor and Bethlehem Lights trees.

Due to excessive return shipping costs, I never buy "as is" online.

 

I would, however, do so in a B&M store where I could examine an item thoroughly.
