Seems like the IT ought to be able to fix this problem. So far I have been able to find a way to work around it. How? Beats me because what i did the previous time does not work the next time.

Not being an IT specialist, I can't tell anyone how to fix it. But with all the changes made on this Bulletin Board over the couple decades I have been here?  Surely they have someone might know a simple fix when so many can no longer sign in with the nic and PW they have used for years.

I know my way around computers and been into electronics all of my adult life, and mid teens. Some problems that seem complex are at times the easiest to fix.

Maybe a Moderator can help?  Anyone!

I've had to change my nic at least 3 or 4 times over the years. I'm supposed to be MrsSweetieBear since 2006.

This time, after being off line for a few days, it wouldn't bring me to the forums.  Signing in with my usual latest nic and password just took me to shopping pages over and over again.

I think I'm finally here now but not sure how I got here or what the problem is.

The former and current and still "MrsSweetieBear".

Holy cow, I could have gotten into Fort Knox easier than getting on here.

I too had to change my nic.  Retired Legal Secretary is really retired.

I've been having a lot of problems trying to sign in too!  I just couldn't in Safari or Google.  I'm using Firefox right now.

I hope they straighten out their technical problems soon.

Same here (sort of), although it automatically is showing me as "Jan99" instead of "Jannabelle". I guess I had that nickname years ago. At someone's suggestion in the Community Care, I clicked on the link she provided and I was finally able to sign in, although with a different nickname. It's been 3 days of non-stop frustration trying to get logged in. QVC really does need to address this and get it fixed!

The other day I had to change my password  but I just put in my usual password and I got right in. Then on Fri., I changed my password twice and no go. Yesterday I finally had to change my nic and then I had no issue at all, so now I'm catter70 instead of catter. Another thing I don't understand is I usually have to sign in every couple of hours if I want to reply to something. I shut down my computer around 5 p.m.yesterday and when wanting to reply to this post, I didn't have to sign in at all.Go figure.

Re: Having to change nics

[ Edited ]

@hckynut   John, see one of the last posts that dooBdoo sent to me.  She's a huge help. She typed in the steps, and you could try that.

I'd copy and paste it here for you, if that worked anymore on my computer.  Sorry.

I had he "Groundhog Day" experience too, but I THINK that if you access Blogs and Forums DIRECTLY, rather than going through the main QVC page, for some unknown cyber reason, Big Mac Lets you sign in during your original, intended, desired nic.

But maybe not. So Cyber world gets smarter and smarter, and I sink deeper and deeper into the world of Huh?
