Thanks to all for your replies, it is very much appreciated.

My sister's condition has gotten worse.  Her DD calls it the triple whammy. It's her liver, heart and kidneys. A med for one organ/issue has an adverse effect on the other 2. She just had her 17th blood transfusion.

Her DH just lost part of a kidney to a tumor and their SIL was just diagnosed with MS.

It has been exhausting.

On a lighter note, Petunia turned 2 in August and is funnier, and smarter, than ever. She gives us a much needed comic relief.
