I've never tired their clothes, I get things for the house, a couple of gifts, etc.
They have pretty cute handbags and totes, like today.

I went there once, probably from a Google search of a specific item, and was kind of bummed out that the only way to look at the site at all was to sign up, or give information or whatever that was.
Anyway, that's kind of a principle kind of thing that I just won't do so I just backed out and never went back.
Once they have your personal info and/or your email address there is no going back. For the ones that sell your info, even when you unregister they have already had it and you're skrewed. I guess I'm probably ridiculously big on privacy.
It's a shame because maybe it's a good place to spend money. I don't know. I never will. Probably the good thing, for them, is that I would imagine I am in the minority.

I won't be shopping there because I don't like giving my email address to be bombarded daily with multiple emails. I already get bombarded with multiple QVC emails daily, that's enough for me. Are the deals worth it?
Thats what turned me off too.
I should be able to look.
Is it a secret club or something? lol
What is the secret handshake?

Hi @Pqfan ![]()
I think most of the smaller online shopping sites are like that now, Hautelook, etc. I used to follow about three of them and they all turned that way.

You do realize that you can control that, don't you?

Yes, you can, and it's easy.
I have never seen a site that doesn't have an Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the page. Sometimes it's in small lettering, but it's there.
I often subscribe to see what something is like and then unsubscribe later.
@Goodie2shoes All ads go automatically into my promo file so I never see them unless I go there. Zulily daily emails go into my mail, but any reminder goes to the promo file. This is great as I can scroll through them and delete all at one time.

Zulilly has a clear statement that they will not share or sell any of your information.
I think they mean that, I haven't had any new emails come my way since I started shopping with them.

That's good to know. Thanks, Noel! ![]()

@Pqfan I felt this way about America's Test Kitchen not only requiring an email address, but a home address, etc. in order to get a recipe, which I refused to do. Pinterest also requires an email address and a password. Pinterest isn't a shopping site do I don't understand why one has to join just to view pictures.
If Zulily didn't have an email address, daily email couldn't be sent, and I must say it is dangerous because I find too many items that I must have.

My first and last order took 6-7 weeks to arrive!! That is excessive to me! Almost 2 months ?!?!?
There are no hoops. They have excellent CS. I've had a couple of things arrive broken and received the wrong item once or twice. One call or email and my account was credited the amount I paid PLUS $10.
Yes, orders can take awhile to arrive due to the way they operate. Most take 2-3 weeks.

@wagirl wrote:I won't shop there anymore either. It takes weeks to get anything and the no returns policy is stupid!! QVC needs to revamp everything about this company, IMO. I've given the 2 items I've ordered away as they did not fit even tho they were said to be my size.... and I live near Seattle where this company is based and it still took nearly 3 weeks to get my order.
@wagirl QVC doesn't own Zulily. They are owned by the same parent company and each has its own CEO. If you took the time to read how they operate, you'd understand why they have no returns and extended shipping times.

Oh, yeah! LOL
I had a hard time today walking away from those Case whatever handbags. Nice!
I also really liked that heavy cotton tote with the palm leaves on it, very tropical/summery, and only something like $39.
