Hedge..Actually, my Dh and I do both have flip phones, but mine stays turned off in my purse until I go out. I have 4 landline phones which I will always keep because of my mobility issues...bad knees. They are conveniently located in the house ( kitchen, office,BR and laundry) so I don't have to run very far to answer one, esp. when I'm in the basement laundry room.

Thank you for your helpful info. I want you to know that I in NO WAY felt shamed by your comments or anyone else's. I felt everyone was being very helpful and I will be taking steps to end these annoying calls very soon. THANKS to everyone for taking time to help me. I do appreciate it!

Some sound advice was given to the OP and hopefully she will upgrade her technology soon. I block numbers almost everyday and I never answer the phone from a number I don't know.

We got a call from Citi Bank (we have their Costco card) yesterday asking if we made two transactions -- one in Arizona and one in Arkansas for very small amounts. No -- we didn't. Evidently they presented a card and the merchant denied them. As everyone knows, the Costco card has your photo on the back. My husband has the card in his possession. So they are cancelling his card and overnighting by Fed Ex a new card. Our phone's caller ID was 800 Service. I thought it might be a scam, but it wasn't. They called late the night before and didn't leave a message, then again early in the morning.
